Our process for creating the scents in our soaps starts with the ingredients. We mix pure essential oils in-house to synthesize our unique blends that balance both being remarkably simple and surprisingly complex with a richness that leaves a lasting impression when used.
Our face bars have a larger ratio of base oils that are gentler on delicate areas of the skin such as olive or avocado. While our face bars are safe to use on your body, we do not recommend using the body bars on your face. We do recommend that you try a small area on your face to double check for any allergies that some people have to natural fragrances.
We make our soaps by hand in small batches using the cold process method, which gives us full control over the quality of each soap bar.
We use biodegradable ingredients in our soap like plant-derived oils, exfoliants, clays, herbs and organic essential oils. While we do not manufacture the ingredients ourselves, we use an intensive vetting process to source quality ingredients from vendors we trust. Our soap does not contain unnecessary chemicals, synthetics, detergents, perfumes or parabens.
Our soaps are not formulated to be antibacterial. Check out our resource section for information about the antibacterial and antifungal potential of essential oils.
If stored properly and used daily, a single bar of soap can last up to 3- 4 weeks. We recommend using a soap saver to allow your bar to completely dry between each use.
Our bars are not formulated to be hypoallergenic. We recommend trying our unscented bars if you have sensitive skin.
